I drive all the way from Essex to Ayelsbury Horton Cars.the staff and mechanics are very professional.they know what they doing.prices are competitive compared to Main dealer(Stealer). They diagnosed my car engine oil leaking correctly while other main dealer didnt diagnosed correctly.i would like to say them Thanks here for that thing. Must recommend them for Volvo repair. It’s not, it’s a Volvo independent specialist, and a very good one at that. As someone who used to work in a business that had 5000 customers a month I completely understand that statistically there will always be the rare job with a tiny mishap that shouldn’t represent the other 99% of competence. I was unfortunately that 1% statistic however where a tiny pinched seal allowed my auto gearbox to slowly lose fluid and my gearbox stopped working 4 days after its service. The real mark of a business is how they deal with problems and genuinely everyone I’ve told this story to has been in shock at how well Horton Cars immediately looked after me. The owner on the phone immediately said (without me remotely pointing a finger) “There’s no smoke without fire, we know it’ll have been us and we’ll get it sorted straight away” and sincere apologies alongside. But given that I live 135 miles away I was amazed at the dedication to getting my car towed to and from them and the fact they returned my fixed car free of charge the day after taking delivery of it. £1200 So yes, thank you, Horton! Jimmy Goodwin Excellent, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Spoke to Graham on Saturday about the car, did a video walk round with Charlie on Monday, paid a deposit and was told that the car would be delivered on the Friday to me in Ayrshire. Sure enough Friday lunchtime the car arrived, serviced, prepped and as promised, I was not disappointed. Graham, Charlie and the team do a fantastic job.
